About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist II to join our team at Rexnord Industries, LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting conventional or automatic machines, including Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines according to exact tolerances specified on engineering prints
  • Write, edit, and modify programs for CNC machines
  • Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and correct operational and quality issues
  • Ensure the machine is in compliance with operational and safety guidelines
  • Perform housekeeping duties as required
  • Meet all production standards
  • Run entire cell/area or multiple machines as a machinist
Requirements
  • Post-high school education with an emphasis on machinist trade
  • 2 years of experience as a machinist
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Ability to work in AutoCAD
  • Ability to write CNC programs
  • Ability to set up and operate manual lathes and other machines according to precise tolerances
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills
  • Basic maintenance skills
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision
