We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist II to join our team at Rexnord Industries, LLC. As a key member of our machine shop, you will be responsible for assisting with the set-up, operation, and adjustment of conventional or automatic machines, including Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) machines.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the set-up and operation of CNC machines, ensuring precise tolerances and quality control.
- Work from drawings and written instructions to create replacement and new parts, utilizing your knowledge of various metals and machining processes.
- Read and interpret CNC programs, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and correct operational and quality issues, ensuring the machine is in compliance with operational and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet production standards and deadlines.
- Post-high school education with an emphasis on machinist trade.
- 2 years of experience as a machinist, with a strong understanding of CNC machines and programming.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and prints.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and CNC programming software.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills and basic maintenance knowledge.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
