We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist to join our team at Regal Rexnord. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for assisting with the setup, operation, and adjustment of conventional or automatic machines, including Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) machines.
Key Responsibilities- Write, edit, and modify programs for CNC machines to ensure precise tolerances and optimal performance.
- Operate CNC machines according to exact specifications on engineering prints, ensuring high-quality results.
- Set up and operate manual lathes, saws, cutting tools, and slotting tools to meet exact tolerances on engineering prints.
- Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance to ensure machine efficiency and safety.
- Troubleshoot and correct operational and quality issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure compliance with operational and safety guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Perform housekeeping duties as required to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Meet all production standards, including quality, quantity, and delivery deadlines.
- Run entire cells or areas, or multiple machines, as a Machinist, demonstrating leadership and expertise.
- Work in a constant state of alertness, maintaining focus and attention to detail.
- Regular and predictable attendance is essential, as is the ability to work cooperatively with colleagues.
- Post-high school education with an emphasis on machinist trade.
- 2 years of experience as a Machinist, with a strong understanding of CNC programming and operation.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, with a focus on precision and accuracy.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to write CNC programs.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Basic maintenance skills, with the ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating independence and self-motivation.
