Position Overview

About This Beverage Sales Consultant Role:

Work Schedule:

  • Full-Time role (flexible to Part-Time if necessary)
  • Operating as a Beverage Sales Consultant in the Boulder, Longmont, Broomfield, Superior, and Brighton regions
  • Weekday schedule from Monday to Friday (or Monday to Wednesday for part-time) with occasional weekends for tasting events
  • Typical working hours from Monday to Thursday, 9am-6pm, with Fridays offering more adaptable hours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with assigned clients daily to assess stock levels, recommend reorders, and present new products
  • Facilitate product tastings and gauge customer preferences to enhance sales performance
  • Interact with approximately 9-12 clients daily, processing orders through the company's digital platform
  • Participate in periodic sales meetings to discuss new offerings and strategies with the team
  • Assist in pouring at events and tastings to increase sales on weekends
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and contribute to client satisfaction

Compensation Structure:

Commission-based earnings within a defined territory, with an average annual income between $45,000 and $50,000

  • Additional potential for sales incentives and vendor bonuses
  • Health Benefits (KAISER), Delta Dental, available after two months of employment (70% company coverage)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum age requirement of 21
  • Resident of the Boulder/Longmont/Thornton vicinity
  • Must possess a reliable vehicle and maintain a clean driving record
  • Self-driven individual with effective time management abilities
  • Capability to lift 40lbs and handle physical responsibilities
  • Proficient in computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, and cloud-based applications
  • Previous sales experience is advantageous, but not essential
  • Enthusiasm and knowledge of wines and spirits are highly valued
  • Positive demeanor, strong communication skills, and exceptional customer service aptitude
  • Availability to commence work immediately
