Compensation: $18.33/hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire Room Service operation during assigned shifts or in the absence of management.
  • Assist in staff scheduling, product ordering, employee evaluations, and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Deliver prompt, friendly, and courteous service to guest rooms.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Guarantee guest satisfaction by adhering to the Standards of Service Manual for the Room Service Department.
  • Support employees as needed to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Ensure all special events and amenities are presented according to guest and hotel specifications.
  • Maintain established controls for stock levels and orders.
  • Enforce security protocols, including key control and beverage stock management.
  • Document all incidents in detail.
  • Supervise all Room Service hourly employees.
  • Assist with special guest functions as requested.
  • Responsible for training and development of staff.
  • Handle cash, credit, and comp procedures accurately and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Inspect staff for uniform compliance, cleanliness, and identification.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation policies of the food and beverage department.
  • Maintain knowledge of food and beverage offerings throughout the resort.
  • Manage the private bar stock and maintain appropriate par levels.
  • Assist in service or side duties in other food and beverage areas as required.
  • Communicate daily with the management team to ensure timely information transfer.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and comply with all company and departmental rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and guests.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and verbally communicating in English.
  • Ability to assist management and cashiers in all areas of departmental responsibility.
  • High School Education or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a restaurant setting preferred. Sanitation Certificate and TIPS Training or equivalent are beneficial.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the room dining department required.
  • Knowledge of Food & Beverage, including wines and liquors.
  • Strong PC skills for meeting administrative requirements.

  • Mobility required throughout the shift, including maneuvering through crowded areas.
  • Bending and reaching from floor level to 6 ft. high may be necessary.
  • Lifting of up to 30 lbs. is required.
  • Pushing and pulling Room Service carts weighing up to 70 lbs. for extended periods.
  • Normal sense of smell, taste, touch, and sound is required.
  • Normal vision range and absence of color blindness are necessary.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required.
  • Work may be performed in environments that are unusually hot, cold, noisy, or smoky.
  • Work may occur in small areas with limited access.
