Position Summary:
The In-Room Dining Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the entire Room Service operation during assigned shifts. This role includes managing staff schedules, product orders, and employee evaluations, while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service to guest rooms with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by following the established Standards of Service Manual.
  • Support team members to provide the highest quality service.
  • Oversee the presentation of special events and amenities in line with guest and hotel standards.
  • Maintain inventory controls and manage stock levels effectively.
  • Implement security measures for keys and beverage stock.
  • Document incidents accurately and in detail.
  • Supervise all Room Service hourly staff and assist in training and development.
  • Handle cash, credit, and complimentary procedures accurately.
  • Inspect staff for compliance with uniform and cleanliness standards.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation policies.
  • Maintain awareness of food and beverage offerings throughout the resort.
  • Assist in other food and beverage areas as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with management to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with staff and guests.
  • Understanding of company and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • High School diploma or equivalent; prior restaurant experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the room dining department.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage, including wines and liquors.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks and computer skills.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires mobility throughout the shift, including navigating crowded areas and lifting up to 30 lbs. Regular attendance and the ability to work in varying environmental conditions are essential.
