Compensation: $18.33/hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire Room Service operation during assigned shifts or in the absence of management.
  • Assist in staff scheduling, product ordering, and employee evaluations.
  • Notify management of any disciplinary actions or administrative needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Deliver prompt, friendly, and courteous service to guest rooms.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Guarantee guest satisfaction by adhering to the Standards of Service Manual.
  • Support employees to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Ensure all special events and amenities are presented according to guest and hotel specifications.
  • Maintain established controls for stock levels and orders.
  • Enforce security protocols, including key management and beverage stock control.
  • Document all incidents in detail.
  • Supervise all Room Service hourly employees.
  • Assist with special guest functions as requested.
  • Manage training and development for staff.
  • Handle cash, credit, and comp procedures accurately and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Inspect staff for uniform compliance and cleanliness.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation policies.
  • Maintain knowledge of food and beverage offerings throughout the resort.
  • Manage the private bar store and maintain product par levels.
  • Assist in service or side duties in other food and beverage areas as required.
  • Communicate daily with management to ensure timely information sharing.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and guests.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and verbal communication in English.
  • Ability to assist management and cashiers in all areas of departmental responsibility.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a restaurant setting preferred. Sanitation Certificate and TIPS Training or equivalent are beneficial.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the room dining department.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage, including wines and liquors.
  • Strong PC skills for administrative tasks.

  • Normal sense of smell, taste, touch, and sound is necessary.
  • Normal vision range and absence of color blindness required.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is essential.
  • Work may be performed in areas that are unusually hot, cold, noisy, or smoky.
  • Work may be performed in small areas with limited access.
