About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Sales Specialist - Digital Spine to join our team at the J&J Family of Companies. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of our digital spine solutions and enabling technologies across the US market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and Awareness Campaigns: Develop and execute targeted prospecting and awareness campaigns to drive adoption of our digital spine solutions.
  • Clinical Demos and Advocacy: Lead clinical demos and advocacy efforts to educate internal and external customers on the benefits of our digital spine solutions.
  • Site Installation and Support: Work with our sales consultant team to lead site installation and initial case support for our digital spine solutions.
  • Pipeline Growth and Forecasting: Collaborate with Capital Equipment Selling Managers to grow the area pipeline, monitor placement utilization, and meet enabling technologies forecast goals.
  • Clinical and Capital Selling Pathways: Demonstrate a strong understanding of clinical and capital selling pathways with Imaging, Navigation, and Robotics.
  • Business Planning and Alignment: Align and support area business plans and strategic goals, and drive associated spinal implants for full platform adoption.
  • Field Education and Training: Partner with Commercial Education, Professional Education, and Area Sales Leadership to deliver timely and impactful field education programs.
  • Regional Tissue Labs and Product Demonstrations: Lead targeted regional-based tissue labs, product demonstrations, industry meeting interactions, and associated surgeon engagements.
  • Hospital-Based Onboarding: Deliver hospital-based onboarding programs for surgical teams (surgeons, PAs, O.R. techs, etc.).
  • Service and Repair Protocol: Support the field sales organization in the execution of our service and repair protocol.
  • Budget Influence and Strategic Decision-Making: Influence area budgets and ensure strategic results-driven use of funding, and influence internal and external stakeholders using data to drive decisions.
  • Customer Experience and Platform Proliferation: Identify area needs, risks, and strategies that lead to successful customer experience and ultimate proliferation of the platform.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Sales, Life Sciences, Business, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience: 5 years of spine sales experience, 5 years of medical device industry experience, background in spinal pathologies and products preferred.
  • Skills: Experience in endoscopic, navigation, or robotic capital equipment systems, launching new products through commercialization, awareness of adult learning principles and educational enablers in driving procedural confidence and utilization.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently, well-organized, self-motivated, energetic, and resourceful, excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, proficiency in MS Office.
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 50% domestic travel, with likelihood of weekend work and possibility of overnight stays away from home.
