Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chief of Staff to join our team at Baylor Line Foundation. As a key member of our leadership team, you will provide executive-level support to our CEO, oversee day-to-day operations, and drive strategic initiatives that align with our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Executive Support: Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO, including managing schedules, correspondence, and key projects.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the smooth functioning of all departments and team workflows, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Strategic Coordination: Act as a liaison between the CEO and staff, driving initiatives that align with the organization's mission and goals.
  • Process Optimization: Implement tech-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Project Management: Lead special projects, manage deadlines, and coordinate across teams to meet key milestones.
  • Team Leadership: Help build and maintain a culture of transparency, innovation, and growth.
Requirements
  • Recent College Graduate or Up to 3 Years of Relevant Experience: We are looking for a recent college graduate or someone with up to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Strong Organizational and Multitasking Skills: The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with the CEO and other staff members.
  • Proficiency with Modern Workplace Technology: Proficiency with modern workplace technology, including Google Workspace, project management tools, and Slack, is required.
  • Passion for Nonprofit Work, Journalism, and Storytelling: A passion for nonprofit work, journalism, and storytelling is essential for this role, as you will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Creative Problem Solver: A creative problem solver with a passion for continuous improvement is required for this role.
