This position is primarily remote, requiring travel within the designated territory.

We are seeking a District Sales Manager who will be accountable for the promotion and sales of the complete range of Polyglass products within their assigned area. This role involves building and nurturing relationships with distributors, consultants, contractors, and architects. The District Sales Manager will not only strive to meet the monthly sales targets but will also assist in forecasting market trends and gathering competitive insights. The DSM will enhance the Polyglass brand visibility by engaging in local industry meetings and supporting regional and corporate initiatives as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sustain current sales and identify opportunities for growth within the existing customer base under the guidance of the Regional Sales Leader or Regional Marketing Manager.
  • Investigate potential leads within the assigned geographical sales area.
  • Employ basic troubleshooting skills to resolve minor issues encountered by clients in the sales region.
  • Communicate product concerns, competitive activities, and new sales prospects at existing accounts within the territory.
  • Provide timely field reports to management.
  • Uphold the quality management system by being knowledgeable about the quality philosophy, statement, manual, and procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively and courteously with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Strategically plan and organize tasks to achieve efficient and effective outcomes.
  • Accept the responsibilities and consequences associated with the role.
  • Serve as a formal or informal leader in achieving team objectives.
  • Proactively address potential challenges, opportunities, and issues.
  • Understand and utilize budgets, balance sheets, profits, and other financial metrics.
  • Manage projects to deliver results efficiently and punctually.
  • Analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and manage multiple assignments or projects simultaneously.
  • Lead, manage, and comprehend timelines and critical paths.
  • Submit expense reports promptly.
  • Maintain a robust understanding of Polyglass products and systems, as well as knowledge of competitors' offerings.
  • Collaborate with PG coating and roofing technicians for joint sales visits.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in using a personal computer in a Windows environment.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • A minimum of two to five years of experience in sales or a related field is essential.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record is required.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
