For more information, visit our career site.As an Air Export Agent, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the transit of our clients' air export shipments. You will serve as the central liaison for coordinating between customers, customs brokers, and shipping carriers.
Key Responsibilities :
Facilitates coordination among all relevant parties for air export shipments; guarantees timely bookings with airlines on behalf of customers.
Prepares export documentation, including entries into Logis Air, adhering to country-specific requirements, as well as the preparation of Certificate of Origin, Cargo Manifest, NAFTA Certificate, Airway Bill, and any other documents mandated by the customer.
Ensures compliant filing of AES (Automated Export System) export customs.
Maintains regular communication with customers regarding shipment status and ensures continuous updates with overseas contacts to meet delivery commitments; follows up with airlines to monitor and track departure and arrival information.
Ensures accurate invoicing of services rendered in accordance with company policy.
Maintains accurate and updated customer profiles.
Aims to meet all KPIs assigned and audited by the Control Tower.
Skills / Requirements :
Exceptional customer service abilities
Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred experience in the air freight industry
Knowledge of Cargo Wise systems is advantageous
Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in the air freight sector within the freight forwarding industry.
