Position: Assistant Twos Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, execution, and assessment of educational activities that are thematic, engaging, and uphold high-quality standards.
  • Support the evaluation of each child's development, customizing the curriculum to address varied needs.
  • Foster a warm and secure classroom environment that promotes learning.
  • Maintain open and empathetic communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their children's progress and daily experiences.
  • Actively participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and training workshops.
  • Help manage classroom resources, ensuring all materials are accessible and well-maintained.
  • Continuously monitor children to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate effectively with other staff members to sustain a cohesive and productive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in assisting with teaching children in a preschool or similar environment.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with educational and safety regulations in childcare settings.
  • Demonstrated understanding of diverse educational methodologies and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, emphasizing empathy and nurturing.
  • Physical capability to engage actively with children.
  • A strong commitment to early childhood education and a passion for fostering developmental success.
