Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, execution, and assessment of educational activities that are engaging, thematic, and uphold high-quality standards.
- Support the evaluation of each child's growth, adapting the curriculum to cater to individual needs.
- Foster a warm and secure classroom environment that promotes learning.
- Maintain open and compassionate communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their children's development and daily experiences.
- Actively participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and training workshops.
- Help manage classroom resources, ensuring that all materials are accessible and well-maintained.
- Continuously monitor children to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow staff members to sustain a cohesive and productive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related discipline; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in assisting with the education of children in a preschool or similar setting.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of educational and safety regulations in childcare.
- Demonstrated understanding of various educational methods and practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, emphasizing empathy and nurturing.
- Physical capability to engage actively with children.
- A strong commitment to early childhood education and a passion for fostering developmental success.
