Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team at Clearpoint. As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our company's compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide regulatory support to our asset teams in completing and submitting regulatory filings, including drilling permits, completions, recompletions, flare permits, commingle permits, and injection permits.
  • Research and assist in resolving compliance issues, maintaining in-house tracking systems with current information, and requesting and reviewing as-drilled plats provided by the survey company.
  • Distribute filings to teams and departments as needed, assist with review of assets for compliance issues during acquisitions and divestitures, and work with service companies to obtain, review, and file W-15's.
  • Complete all data collection for completion packets and assess and resolve violation notices for assigned areas.
Requirements
  • Minimum of four years of experience comprehending and interpreting State and Federal rules and regulations.
  • Minimum of four years of experience filing State and Federal Documents.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with various regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and influence other departments and discuss issues that may arise.
  • Ability to apply knowledge and use critical thinking skills to achieve work responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently with little direction.
Preferred Requirements
  • Three years experience in RRC regulatory.
  • Prior Permian Basin experience.
  • Familiarity with oilfield terminology and operations.
  • Ability to problem solve and multi-task under tight schedule constraints, work on multiple projects concurrently, manage varying priorities and tasks, and adapt quickly to rapidly changing events, meeting deadlines with attention given to detail.
