Your Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor a team of maintenance professionals, including technicians and operators. Provide training, conduct evaluations, and promote a culture of safety and teamwork.
  • Safety and Operational Efficiency: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Organize maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and enhance productivity.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Create and execute preventive maintenance strategies to minimize equipment failures and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting and Repairs: Quickly address equipment breakdowns, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and perform necessary repairs to limit production delays.
  • Documentation and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, document best practices, and prepare performance reports detailing downtime, repair expenses, and equipment reliability.
  • Collaboration and Improvement: Work closely with production and management teams to resolve equipment challenges and identify opportunities for process enhancements and cost reductions.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and industry best practices in maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • An associate degree from a technical school or a high school diploma/GED.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and operational systems.
  • Experience in a lean manufacturing environment utilizing continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficient with Allen-Bradley PLCs and related software.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
