Position Overview:
This role is fully remote, focusing on a dedicated region while also supporting national efforts.
The Regional Sales Executive is tasked with achieving sales goals aligned with the company's objectives within a specified territory, with opportunities to engage in sales across other territories.
This role encompasses direct sales, upselling to existing clients, national group sales, and collaboration with channel partners.
Key Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in fixed operations, ideally with a background in selling fixed operations solutions.
- A minimum of 5 years in the automotive service sector.
Core Responsibilities:
This remote position leads the implementation and execution of sales strategies and practices. It ensures that communications are streamlined, supports sales objectives, and adheres to organizational budgetary requirements in collaboration with the VP of Marketing.
Responsibilities include recommending enhancements to sales strategies based on market analysis and competitor insights, executing approved distribution strategies, and managing diverse channel selling approaches.
The role also involves building, developing, and managing a sales team capable of executing necessary sales and service initiatives.
Regular communication with account managers is essential for updates on their activities, ensuring that all product knowledge, initiatives, and trends are current.
Additionally, the Regional Sales Executive will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with retail managers and representatives, ensuring open lines of communication.
Daily Activity Expectations:
- Average travel in the market for 3 days per week.
- Engage with approximately 10 dealers daily to generate new opportunities.
- Conduct an average of 2 meetings per day.
- Office days will include 50 phone calls and 25 emails sent daily.
- Utilize Sugar CRM for documenting and updating the sales funnel.
- Enter data into Dynaquote to produce proforma and investment figures for closing new accounts.
- Send DocuSign to all decision-makers following completed meetings.
In addition to daily tasks, strategic market planning and mapping technology will be employed to optimize travel efficiency.
Weekly team huddles, sales meetings, and occasional training exercises will be conducted to continuously enhance the sales team's capabilities.
