Your Responsibilities:
As a Fire Safety Inspector, you will be tasked with performing regular assessments, testing, servicing, and preventive maintenance on fire alarm systems, electrical systems, sprinkler systems, and other life safety products from various manufacturers.

How You Will Achieve This:
  • Engage with low-voltage wiring and related devices for operational efficiency.
  • Document service acknowledgments accurately using communication tools such as laptops or hard copies.
  • Adhere to a structured inspection timetable.
  • Manage inspection documentation through digital platforms.
  • Execute minor repairs and programming adjustments on inspected systems.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior inspectors and trainees.
  • Complete inspections within designated timelines.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required.

Qualifications We Seek:
Required:
  • Fire alarm certification or the ability to obtain one.
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant service experience in fire alarm or sprinkler systems.
  • Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and operational manuals.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and multimeter operation.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for system repairs.
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in various positions, including heights and confined spaces.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses as per regulations.
  • Willingness to complete the Inspector Entrée Course (Electrical or Sprinkler).
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a proactive attitude.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

Preferred:
  • Background in service roles.
  • NICET Level II certification.
  • Knowledge of sprinkler systems and fire extinguishers.
