Overview:
Join a leading organization in fire, life safety, and security solutions. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and functionality of access control systems, including Gate Access Systems, to safeguard lives and property.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the bidding process for Access Control projects as needed.
  • Install and configure access and security systems, including dismantling and programming equipment as per client specifications.
  • Conduct thorough testing and inspections of systems under maintenance contracts.
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently.
  • Make necessary connections and adjustments, ensuring all components operate effectively.
  • Perform site surveys at management's request.
  • Maintain up-to-date manuals and documentation as changes occur.
  • Provide management with reports on completed tasks, pending actions, and material needs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding project status and completion.
  • Prepare and submit detailed service and status reports promptly.
  • Accurately log travel and service times, ensuring proper documentation of warranties and code compliance.
  • Work independently at various customer locations.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience and knowledge in Access Control systems are essential. Technical training is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft applications is necessary.

NICET Certifications are a plus. Must be capable of operating hand and power tools safely. Experience in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders is preferred.

Additional Responsibilities:
Adhere to the company’s Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Safety Policies. Perform other duties as assigned, including installations and servicing of Fire Alarm and Security Systems.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as necessary. Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods. Comfortable with reaching, climbing (ladders/stairs), and bending. Effective verbal communication via telephone is required. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
