Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor/Room Inspector to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and service in our hospitality establishment.

The primary role of the Housekeeping Supervisor/Room Inspector involves meticulously inspecting and maintaining guest accommodations to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promptly address all guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness in all guest rooms, as indicated by guest feedback.
  • Become proficient in our Property Management System (PMS) to update room statuses as needed.
  • Ensure all guest rooms meet our rigorous cleanliness criteria.
  • Restock and organize all housekeeping supplies and workspaces as required.
  • Oversee the opening of the housekeeping department by assigning rooms and distributing daily tasks.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms to confirm adherence to cleanliness standards.
  • Manage the closing of the housekeeping department by collecting daily reports and updating room status in the PMS.
  • Perform detailed cleaning of guest rooms according to our established standards when necessary.
  • Assist the Executive Housekeeper with monthly inventory assessments of supplies and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to facilitate maintenance and repairs in guest rooms.
  • Oversee the lost and found process, maintaining accurate records and responding to guest inquiries.
  • Possess knowledge of all Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) relevant to housekeeping.
  • Support the Executive Housekeeper in various departmental tasks as needed.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Availability during weekends and holidays is essential.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with managers, colleagues, vendors, and guests.
  • Physical ability to bend, stoop, lift, and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
