**Key Responsibilities**

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of lifeguards on duty.
  • Monitor and enforce safety regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a secure environment.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies, providing first aid and rescue operations as necessary.
  • Maintain positive public relations and address any disturbances with professionalism.
  • Conduct regular inspections and report on facility conditions and staff performance.

**Essential Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in lifeguarding.
  • Certification in lifeguard training from recognized organizations.
  • First Aid and CPR/AED certification for professional rescuers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage conflicts effectively.
  • Physical capability to perform rescue operations and lift weights up to 50 lbs.

**Preferred Skills**

Additional qualifications that are advantageous include:

  • Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification.
  • Experience in youth program management.
  • Familiarity with aquatic training programs.
  • Waterfront training for beach lifeguards.

**Compensation**

This is a seasonal position offering a competitive hourly wage of $18.75, without benefits.
