Role Overview: The Community Sales Liaison is an integral part of Clover Health's sales division, tasked with generating sales prospects and enhancing awareness of health plans within the designated region. This involves identifying events for brokers to engage with and facilitating member-focused gatherings.

This position requires travel throughout Central and South Georgia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a representative for brokers in the assigned area, fostering brand recognition and corporate presence for Clover.
  • Collaborate with sales team members to identify and prioritize essential agencies and community organizations for engagement, supporting the sales pipeline and promoting our health plan.
  • Establish and nurture positive relationships with local community organizations.
  • Compile community interaction reports and provide insights into market conditions.
  • Organize and oversee outreach initiatives, special events, and presentations, including logistics such as venue reservations, catering, and material distribution.
  • Ensure that adequate pre-sales or promotional materials are available for participants at any sales or member seminars, while adhering to state marketing regulations.

Success Metrics:

First 90 Days:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of Clover's offerings and their competitive advantages in the assigned markets.
  • Acquire knowledge of Clover's policies and procedures to ensure compliance with marketing standards and manage collateral materials.
  • Engage in community events, such as member meetings, within the designated territory.
  • Begin establishing connections with key agencies and community organizations on behalf of Clover.

First 6 Months:

  • Develop strong relationships with key agencies and community organizations, becoming a trusted resource for Clover.
  • Identify potential sites and sponsorship opportunities to elevate the Clover brand in the assigned area.
  • Lead community events, such as member meetings, within the territory.
  • Demonstrate a measurable impact on sales and retention metrics relative to established goals.

Long-Term Success:

  • Sales and retention performance in relation to goals in the assigned regions.
  • Strength of relationships with agencies and community organizations.
  • Volume and quality of events and sponsorships organized.
  • Insight into market dynamics within the assigned territories.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Residing in Central Georgia, preferably around Houston County.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in community development and relationship building.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Medicare or Medicare Advantage.
  • Possession of a valid Georgia driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong organizational skills, creativity, and a member-centric approach.
  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal abilities.
  • Highly organized with exceptional time management skills.
  • Passionate about enhancing the lives of Medicare-eligible individuals in the community.
  • A natural people person who enjoys engaging with diverse individuals daily.
