**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Smith College. As an IT Service Point Assistant, you will provide technical services and support to the Smith community.

The successful candidate will have excellent computer and customer service skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams. They will also have a strong aptitude for learning new technologies quickly and exercising good judgment when troubleshooting issues.

**Key Responsibilities:*

  • Provide user support for digital media equipment loaned to the Smith community.
  • Assist with printing support and computer checks.
  • Respond to support requests submitted by Smith community users via the ITS ticketing system.

**Requirements:**

  • Excellent computer and customer service skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse teams throughout the organization.
  • Strong aptitude to learn new technologies quickly.

**Compensation:** The estimated salary for this position is $22,500 - $25,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
