Job Title: Assembly and Wiring Specialist

L3 Harris is seeking an experienced Assembly and Wiring Specialist to join our team in Northampton, MA. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing assembly and wiring operations on various electronic assemblies. The job involves working from engineering drawings, schematics, and/or wiring diagrams to assemble electrical and microwave circuits, electro-optical systems, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and wire electronic components using various techniques.
  • Work with engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Use potting and epoxy compounds, wiring on or near optics, and other assigned tasks.
  • Maintain production records and keep the work area clean and organized.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and four years of prior Electronic assembly experience preferably in aerospace, defense, or medical industry.
  • 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with zero to two years of prior Electronic assembly experience preferably in aerospace, defense, or medical industry.
  • Familiarity with solder processes and Resistor (IPC) color code.
  • Ability to obtain IPC 620 and J Standard Certificate.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $85,000 per year
