About the Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced educator to join our team as a Home-Based Educational Support Specialist. This part-time position involves working with students in their homes, libraries, or public spaces to provide one-on-one instruction and support. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to adapt to changing situations, and possess a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students in their homes or designated locations
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to students' needs and interests
- Establish strong relationships with students and their families to ensure effective support
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum requirements and instructional methods
Requirements
- One year of teaching experience in an informal or formal setting
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Ability to pass a CORI screening
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work a varied schedule
Compensation and Benefits
