Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Flexible Support Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with residents, families, and colleagues to provide personalized support and promote independence. Your expertise will help create safe, enjoyable, and meaningful living environments that foster creative opportunities for growth and development.

Responsibilities
  • Support residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Assist with transportation to appointments, community events, and other activities.
  • Complete daily shift notes, data tracking, and record-keeping tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Program Director and Site Manager to develop and implement individual support plans.
  • Administer medications (MAP Certified) and remain current on agency certifications/training.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license for at least 6 months and an acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Medication Administration Certificate required.
  • CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Proactive Approaches to Behavioral Challenges (PABC Restraint Certificate).
  • Physical ability to perform the requirements of the position and ensure resident safety.
  • Basic computer/office skills.
  • Background check (CORI).
