Job Title: Area Vice President, Operations

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs, a leading provider of alternative and special education programs, is seeking an experienced Area Vice President, Operations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of a designated area, ensuring the successful delivery of quality educational services, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with district personnel, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations and growth.
  • Develop and implement operational plans, including training and professional development programs, to enhance the performance of Program Directors, Shared Support Services, and Campus Site Leadership.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues and programmatic concerns, ensuring compliance with ChanceLight policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Uphold the quality and integrity of operations, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, certification, and accreditation requirements.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on staffing, succession planning, performance reviews, and employee relations, supporting site leadership in managing employee relations.
  • Utilize data from various sources to inform programmatic and operational decisions, driving instruction and improving outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in education, educational leadership, special education, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in school administration or educational leadership, with a strong preference for experience overseeing multi-site schools or programs.
  • Active certification and/or licensure in educational leadership, school administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Effective management skills, comprehensive knowledge of administrative and school operations, and experience in special education services and compliance.
  • Prior experience in marketing, public relations, sales, and school enrollment is preferred.
