About the Role

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs, a leading provider of alternative and special education programs, is seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Area Vice President, Operations and Strategic Growth. This role will be responsible for overseeing the operations of a designated area, ensuring the successful delivery of quality educational services, and driving strategic growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Provide direction and supervision to the operation of a designated area, ensuring the successful delivery of quality educational services.
  • Strategic Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive growth and development, including identifying new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Partnership Development: Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including district personnel, executive management, and cross-functional teams.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Financial Management: Analyze financial and budgetary performance, and collaborate with site leadership and senior management to make financial adjustments as necessary.
  • Human Resources: Collaborate with Human Resources on staffing, succession planning, performance reviews, personnel development, and employee relations.
  • Program Development: Develop and implement programs to meet the needs of students, including alternative educational services and special education programs.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in education, educational leadership, special education, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience working in school administration or educational leadership, with a strong background in operational leadership and strategic growth.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Active certification and/or licensure in educational leadership, school administration, or a related field.
  • Skills: Effective management skills, comprehensive knowledge of administrative and school operations, functions, and staffing requirements, as well as prior experience and/or knowledge in special education services and compliance.
