About the Role

As a Medical Office Coordinator at SCA Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the on-site business office personnel, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate insurance verification, compliance, and scheduling of surgical procedures
  • Monitor and troubleshoot computer issues and security
  • Coordinate activities with other departments and maintain qualified personnel
  • Ensure the protection of patient privacy and contribute to the development of our compliance program
  • Oversee scheduling tasks to maintain efficient patient flow and work closely with clinical supervisors
  • Monitor physician block time and make recommendations for effective utilization
  • Responsible for oversight of medical record maintenance and ensure timely dispensation of completed charts
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Two years of medical facility or medical business office experience
  • Supervisory experience, ASC, and strong accounting background in a medically related environment preferred
Compensation

Minimum: $18.80/Hr.

Maximum: $21.00/Hr.
