Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Front Office Coordinator to join our team at Center for Pain and Supportive Care. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a Front Office, Administrative, or Customer Service position and possess excellent customer service skills, efficiency, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update patient demographic information and verify insurance details
  • Check patients in using our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and collect copays, deductibles, and co-insurances at each visit
  • Utilize a multi-line phone system and schedule patients using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
  • Scan documentation into patient charts and organize incoming faxes
  • Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a comfortable and informed environment
  • Distribute incoming calls, faxes, and documentation to the correct staff member and complete tasks pertinent to the smooth flow of the clinic

Requirements:

  • Great customer service skills and experience with EHR systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and data entry
  • Knowledge of HMO, PPO, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance plans is preferred but not required
  • Ability to work efficiently, handle difficult patients, and possess strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral communication and highly motivated with a strong work ethic
