IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Support professional to join our team at New York Institute of Technology.
Job Summary:The IT Support will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to faculty, staff, and students with desktop, laptop, mobile, and tablet devices. This includes installing, managing, and repairing network, telecommunications, and audio/video equipment, as well as data entry and processing, inventory, delivery, and setup of IT equipment.
Responsibilities:- Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students with desktop, laptop, mobile, and tablet devices.
- Install, manage, and repair network, telecommunications, and audio/video equipment.
- Perform data entry and processing, inventory, delivery, and setup of IT equipment.
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of digital signs and video capture systems.
- Provide support for iPads and other iOS devices.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and work in overhead tight spaces.
- Good communication skills for working with diverse faculty, students, and staff.
- Experience working with Windows and/or Mac computer systems, as well as iOS devices.
- Basic understanding or experience in one of the following fields: audio/video solutions, video capture, digital signs, or iPads.
This is a temporary part-time position, working between 15-20 hours per week in a minimum of 2-hour segments between the hours of 7am-5pm, Monday through Friday, and occasionally evenings and weekends.
