Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the expansion of ASSYST's market presence in both new and established accounts. Foster and sustain strong client relationships to ensure ongoing business.
  • Implement strategies for identifying new business avenues under the mentorship of senior team members.
  • Maintain a proactive, persistent attitude and a willingness to learn about emerging technologies and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with various organizational levels to pinpoint and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Work in close partnership with internal and external stakeholders to effectively communicate ASSYST's values, offerings, and services.
  • Assist in addressing client requirements and preparing comprehensive proposals in conjunction with Subject Matter Experts.
  • Support clients in achieving technical proficiency with company solutions.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to devise and execute joint marketing initiatives that highlight company solutions and generate additional opportunities.
  • Facilitate meetings and presentations with delivery teams and coordinate cross-functional resources to secure sales opportunities.
  • Assist in delivering regular partner progress updates to internal management as necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of proven success in sales and/or business development.
  • Familiarity with developing business opportunities through GSA Schedule, IDIQ GWACs, and Agency BPAs, as well as responding to task order requirements is preferred.
  • Highly organized, research-focused, and data-driven with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in productivity and collaboration tools such as Salesforce CRM, Google Workspace, and Office 365.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
