Position Overview

Dewberry is on the lookout for a dedicated Hydrology and Water Management Engineer to join our Water Resources team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct planning and design for watershed and stormwater management.
  • Execute roadway drainage design and perform hydraulic analysis for culverts.
  • Carry out floodplain studies and manage FEMA LOMC applications.
  • Serve as a technical mentor for junior engineers.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and ArcGIS platforms effectively.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer license is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in water resources engineering.
  • Proficient in watershed and stormwater management, including design of control measures, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, drainage design, and erosion control.
  • Familiarity with hydrologic & hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HY-8, TR-20, SWMM, and PondPack.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and ArcGIS.
