Germantown Tool & Manufacturing, a comprehensive metal fabrication facility specializing in metal stamping, welding, fabrication, assembly, and more, is in search of a Territory Sales Manager to enhance their operations.


POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Territory Sales Manager to oversee our sales initiatives. In this role, you will be tasked with crafting and executing sales strategies to expand market presence, nurturing relationships with both existing and prospective clients, and managing the sales operations within your designated area.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively expand market share by boosting sales and maintaining product margin targets set by the company.
  • Provide ongoing support to current customer accounts.
  • Achieve and surpass annual sales objectives as established by management.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Germantown Tool's product offerings and capabilities.
  • Devise a monthly plan for sales engagements and organize appointments accordingly.
  • Analyze competitive landscape by collecting current market data on pricing, features, and benefits of similar products.
  • Address customer inquiries by investigating issues, formulating solutions, and presenting findings to management.
  • Exhibit strong collaboration and communication skills with all internal stakeholders. Stay informed about relevant business policies, programs, pricing, and products.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills to present to both large and small groups.
  • Ensure customer feedback is accurately represented within the organization.
  • Exhibit enthusiasm and motivate yourself, colleagues, and clients.
  • Facilitate customer visits to foster relationships with company leadership, which are vital for success.
  • Showcase strong business insight by understanding the client's business objectives and aligning them with Germantown Tool's goals.
  • Provide innovative marketing and financial recommendations. Assist in developing creative solutions to specific customer challenges.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales or marketing role within the metal fabrication industry (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Technical proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Personal effectiveness and credibility.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Project management skills.
  • Customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within the territory (up to 60%).
