Germantown Tool & Manufacturing, a comprehensive metal fabrication facility specializing in metal stamping, welding, fabrication, assembly, and more, is seeking a Territory Sales Manager.


POSITION SUMMARY

We are in search of a dynamic and seasoned Territory Sales Manager to enhance our operations. In this role, you will be tasked with crafting and executing sales strategies to expand the territory, nurturing relationships with both existing and prospective clients, and overseeing the sales processes within your designated area.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively increase market share by boosting sales and sales volume while adhering to company-approved product margin objectives.
  • Maintain and service current customer accounts.
  • Achieve and surpass annual sales targets set by management.
  • Exhibit in-depth product knowledge of Germantown Tool offerings and capabilities.
  • Formulate a monthly plan for sales calls and meetings, creating a calendar based on this strategy.
  • Track competitive activities by collecting current market data on pricing, features, and product benefits.
  • Address customer issues by investigating concerns, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Showcase strong teamwork and communication skills with all internal stakeholders. Be well-versed in relevant business policies, programs, pricing, and products.
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively present to both large and small groups with modern presentation skills.
  • Ensure customer feedback is represented fairly within the company.
  • Exhibit a high level of enthusiasm by motivating yourself, colleagues, and clients.
  • Coordinate customer visits to engage with Company Management and foster essential personal relationships.
  • Display strong business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of customer business plans, goals, and sales potential, aligning these with Germantown Tool's objectives.
  • Provide innovative marketing and financial recommendations. Assist in developing creative solutions to specific customer challenges and business matters.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales or marketing role within the metal fabrication industry (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Technical proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Personal effectiveness and credibility.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Project management skills.
  • Customer service orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within the territory (up to 60%).
