Job Summary:
University Medical Center of El Paso seeks a skilled Pharmacist In-Patient, PRN to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate medication orders to ensure appropriateness and accuracy.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to healthcare professionals on medication use and management.
- Coordinate and perform functions related to compounding and dispensing medications.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current Pharmacy license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- 12 hours of ACPE-approved continuing education per year.
