**Job Summary**

The University Medical Center of El Paso seeks a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist, Ambulatory Services Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our ambulatory care team, you will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients seen at our hospitals and outpatient clinics.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide integrated clinical services, teaching, and research to patients and healthcare teams.
  • Develop and implement disease state management plans for ambulatory care patients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care.
  • Maintain competency in unique aspects of drug therapy and disease state management for ambulatory care patients.

**Requirements:**

  • Two years of work experience in ambulatory care, with one year in a Pharmacy Practice Residency (PGY1) and one year in an Ambulatory Care Specialty Residency (PGY2), or equivalent experience.
  • Licensed (or license eligible) as a Pharmacist in the State of Texas.
  • Licensed (or eligible) Preceptor in the State of Texas.
  • Certification in Pharmacotherapy is preferred.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy, Pharm.D. preferred.
  • 15 hours of ACPE-approved continuing education annually.
