Inventory Management Specialist

The Inventory Control Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of inventory levels to meet customer demands while minimizing excess stock. This involves analyzing demand patterns, implementing effective inventory control procedures, and collaborating with logistics, procurement, and category management teams to optimize supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and overstocking
- Analyze demand patterns and adjust inventory levels accordingly
- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and category management teams to optimize supply chain processes
- Monitor and report on inventory levels, stock movements, and other key performance indicators
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in analysis with emphasis on inventory management, product/category management, or retail forecasting
- Mastery of Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Demonstrated supply chain experience working in partnership with transportation, distribution, purchasing, supplier management, and/or inventory management
- Solid understanding of Master Data and Databases, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP)
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily with logistics, procurement, category management, and hospital/departmental leadership
- May require occasional travel to off-site locations
