Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouseperson to join our team at Hendrick Automotive Group. As a key member of our Parts Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of parts and inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Control and manage the receipt of inventory, verifying accuracy and completeness of shipments
  • Receive and process incoming shipments, identifying and reporting any discrepancies or issues
  • Stock and maintain parts and accessories in designated warehouse locations, ensuring accurate and efficient storage
  • Notify relevant personnel of receipt of special orders and ensure timely processing
  • Perform regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accuracy and compliance
  • Operate a forklift to move materials and unload vehicles, as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to company safety standards
  • Meet or exceed CSI standards and participate in ongoing training and development
  • Record hours worked accurately and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous warehouse experience, preferably in an automotive or related industry
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a forklift
  • Basic computer skills and ability to utilize company timekeeping system
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
