We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Warehouse Specialist to join our team at Hendrick Automotive Group. As a key member of our Parts Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of parts and inventory.
Key Responsibilities- Control and manage the receipt of inventory, verifying accuracy and completeness of shipments
- Receive and process incoming shipments, identifying and reporting any discrepancies or issues
- Stock and maintain parts and accessories in designated warehouse locations, ensuring easy access and retrieval
- Notify relevant personnel of receipt of special orders and ensure timely processing
- Perform regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accuracy and compliance
- Operate a forklift to move materials and unload vehicles, as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous warehouse experience, preferably in an automotive or related industry
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in inventory management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods, with frequent movement around the dealership
