We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Therapist / Independent Licensed Therapist to join our team in Lancaster, PA. As a clinician-led care organization, Optum is revolutionizing behavioral health care delivery for individuals, clinicians, and the entire healthcare system.
About the Role:This part-time position involves treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods. You will work closely with patients, coordinate care with external providers, and maintain accurate electronic medical records (Athena).
Responsibilities:- Form strong provider-patient alliances and coordinate care with external providers
- Screen and assess patients for common mental health conditions
- Provide treatment for various mental health conditions using established approaches
- Maintain up-to-date electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field
- Clear, active, and unrestricted license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) in Pennsylvania
- Preferred qualifications include 2+ years of professional experience post-Master's degree, direct psychotherapy experience, and proficiency in computer applications (Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS)
