Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team at VitalCore Health Strategies in Massachusetts. As a Mental Health Professional, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a Master's level degree in a relevant field and licensure as a LCSW, LPC or equivalent. You will be responsible for providing crisis stabilization, conducting intakes and ongoing evaluations, and collaborating with the medical team to develop treatment plans.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a correctional setting and possess excellent clinical skills, including prioritizing treatment needs, crisis management, and brief interventions such as CBT and Motivational Interviewing.

Responsibilities
  • Provide mental health services to patients in a correctional setting, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with the medical team to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Conduct crisis stabilization and provide support to patients in crisis.
  • Participate in monthly behavioral health calls and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Perform risk assessments and coordinate care with community providers, psychiatric hospitals, and corrections.
  • Assist in planning and implementing programs and projects related to mental health services.
Requirements
  • Masters level degree in a relevant field (LCSW, LPC, LMSW, etc.)
  • Licensure as a LCSW, LPC, or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of experience working in a correctional setting or similar environment
  • Ability to pass a background investigation
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience.
