Job Title: Strategic Account Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Consultant to join our team at Elevance Health. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing and retaining existing Large Group accounts in the Eastern Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve retention and growth targets through advanced execution of sales process.
  • Cultivate deep trust-based relationships and develop a comprehensive understanding of client needs and priorities.
  • Act as a consultative collaborative partner with brokers, consultants, and key decision-makers.
  • Develop strategic business plans to address broker and/or client needs.
  • Conduct broker/agency education on pertinent topics.
  • Act as primary customer contact.
  • Coordinate with internal partners to meet and exceed client expectations and drive additional growth and product sales opportunities.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS and a minimum of 4 years of sales experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Sales license required within 60 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with office tools, cloud-based software, social media & collaboration tools.
  • Large Group insurance experience and client-facing experience.
  • Ability to travel.

Hybrid Workforce Strategy:

Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy. Unless specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.
