Job Overview

At the Accident Centers of Texas, we are seeking a detail-oriented and committed Financial Operations Specialist to enhance our team. This role encompasses a variety of financial responsibilities, including comprehensive bookkeeping, budget management, and advanced accounting practices. The ideal candidate will possess a robust accounting background, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency in financial software to facilitate precise and effective financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute comprehensive bookkeeping tasks to uphold precise financial documentation.
  • Contribute to forecasting and budgeting initiatives to aid in financial strategy.
  • Leverage financial software to manage transactions, produce reports, and interpret data.
  • Employ technical accounting expertise to guarantee adherence to accounting regulations.
  • Assist in corporate accounting functions, including month-end closing activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance financial operations and reporting.
  • Support tax preparation and submission, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws.
  • Examine financial data to uncover trends, discrepancies, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, internal policies, and accounting standards. Establish and monitor internal controls to protect the organization's assets.
  • Aid in the formulation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and analysis to bolster financial planning.
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations to confirm alignment between financial records and bank statements.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, payments, and collections, ensuring timely and accurate transaction handling.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proficient in accounting software for managing financial data.
  • Strong grasp of double-entry bookkeeping principles.
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Knowledge of year-end business and payroll tax regulations.
  • Familiarity with financial software for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to effectively apply technical accounting concepts.
  • Prior experience in corporate accounting is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and technology-savvy.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in medical clinic accounting is preferred.
