Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Provider to deliver exceptional medical care in the field of Cardiology. This role involves working with patients experiencing a range of cardiac conditions, ensuring comprehensive treatment and support.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Gathering patient history and conducting assessments through observation, interviews, and examinations.
  • Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic studies.
  • Providing preventative health assessments, screenings, immunizations, and patient care.
  • Directly managing health conditions and referring patients to other healthcare providers or community resources as necessary.
  • Educating patients and their families about preventative health, treatment options, and available community resources.
  • Documenting healthcare delivery and nursing processes in line with specialty standards and organizational policies.
Qualifications

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • Credentialed as a Nurse Practitioner by the Texas Board of Nursing prior to hire or transfer.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Texas Board of Nursing prior to hire or transfer.
  • BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is preferred.
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) credentialing is preferred.

Education:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing is required.
