Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider specializing in Cardiology to deliver exceptional medical care to patients. This role involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes in the cardiovascular field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments through observation, interviews, and examinations.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, ensuring accurate health evaluations.
  • Implement preventative health measures, including screenings and immunizations.
  • Provide direct management of health conditions, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment options and community resources.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of patient care in accordance with established standards.
Work Environment

This position is based in a dynamic healthcare setting, where you will collaborate with cardiologists and other specialists to provide a continuum of care for patients with various cardiac conditions.

Qualifications

Licensure/Certification:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license from the Texas Board of Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse license from the Texas Board of Nursing.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association is preferred.
  • DEA registration is preferred.

Education:

  • Master's degree in Nursing is required.
