The Parking Sales Executive is a key role within ABM Industries, responsible for driving business growth and revenue through new sales opportunities.

As a trusted advisor to clients, the successful candidate will leverage their expertise in the parking industry to identify and pursue new business prospects, with a focus on the Chicago/Midwest territory and beyond.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a deep understanding of the parking market, including trends and customer needs. You should also have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to develop targeted solutions.

In addition to generating new business, you will be responsible for growing and retaining existing accounts by presenting innovative solutions and services to clients. This may involve working closely with mid and senior-level operations management, marketing, and technical staff to develop and implement strategic plans.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prospecting for new clients and turning this into increased business
  • Cold calling and networking to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Researching and building relationships with new clients, identifying potential decision makers and setting up meetings
  • Developing proposals that meet clients' needs, concerns, and objectives
  • Pricing solutions and services, handling objections, and closing deals

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced sales professional with a proven track record in the parking industry. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Management or Business (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3 years of experience in parking sales or management
  • Trade group participation: BOMA, IREM, IFMA, IPMA, Chamber of Commerce
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Expertise in parking sales/operations, proposal writing, RFPs, and budgeting
  • Dynamic presentation and negotiation skills
