Role Summary:
The InBloom Behavioral Analyst Internship is tailored for students pursuing their BCBA certification. This program offers a thorough and immersive training experience aimed at equipping students with the essential skills needed to deliver high-quality services as a BCBA supervisor. The training is structured to be completed over a six-month period leading up to the BCBA examination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one-on-one sessions with clients, providing direct therapeutic support.
  • Engage in up to 20 hours per week of indirect training activities for a duration of six months.
  • Complete indirect work within the center to qualify for compensation, unless otherwise approved by the direct supervisor.
  • Maintain satisfactory performance on assigned projects according to student curriculum and rubrics.
  • Adhere to deadlines for assigned projects and demonstrate effective time management.
  • Exhibit professional behavior and maintain proactive communication with supervisors.
  • Participate in additional approved indirect experiences, which may include:

- Assessments

- Parent training

- IEP development

- Report writing

- Clinical and family meetings

- Data analysis and review

- Program development

- Supervision of RBTs

- Training activities for new hires (RBTs)

- Competency evaluations through role-plays or client interactions

- Support for social skills groups

Supervisory Duties:
No supervisory responsibilities are required for this position.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field, with a strong foundation in behavioral health practices.
  • Must be within six months of taking the BCBA exam.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge and training in behavior analysis.
  • Must schedule and successfully pass the BCBA exam within three months of completing the internship program.
  • Completion of the BCBA interview process is required to be considered for a BCBA position.
  • Commitment to a one-year tenure as a BCBA with InBloom upon receiving an offer.

Additional Requirements:

  • Adherence to The Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts as established by the BACB.
  • Compliance with HIPAA regulations as outlined by InBloom.
  • Possession of reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, insurance, and a smartphone.
  • Ability to work positively with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Demonstration of compassion, responsibility, and a positive attitude.
  • Strong analytical, judgment, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.

Work Environment:
Noise levels may vary from moderate to loud.

Physical Demands:

  • Extended periods of sitting, bending, squatting, standing, and computer use are expected.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Travel Requirements:
Travel may be necessary, up to 25%, to various local centers where InBloom provides services.
