ResourceTek, the Human Capital division of a top-ranked, multi-disciplinary Engineering firm, offers technical services across various sectors including industry and government.

We are currently in search of an Engineering Asset Coordinator with 2-5 years of relevant experience. This role presents a long-term contract opportunity with an estimated duration of 12-24 months.

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating the training and organizational transformation associated with the implementation of Autodesk Vault, Autodesk Fusion Manage, and Autodesk Construction Cloud. Responsibilities include collaborating with Engineers, Designers, and Maintenance Professionals to ensure the successful integration of these new tools and processes. Additionally, this position will involve liaising with both internal and external development teams to address user feedback, propose enhancements, and create effective training programs. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an engineering or manufacturing setting, along with familiarity in Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

Our corporate engineering support team collaborates closely with the Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance Teams. We are embarking on the second phase of our Asset and Maintenance Management system rollout, which merges elements of PDM, PLM, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to streamline Engineering Change Management across the organization. This initiative will extend from various locations across the Americas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and delivery of training on application functionalities to enhance user engagement.
  • Engage with users, partners, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate user needs into actionable insights.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of user support requirements for primary functional areas while providing assistance across other business functions.
  • Stay informed about system best practices and feature updates to foster continuous improvement.
  • Monitor training metrics and collect feedback to ensure training objectives are achieved.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 5 years of experience in developing technical or engineering training materials.
  • Proficient in requirements gathering and analysis to identify user needs.
  • Strong business, functional, and technical understanding.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Capability to manage a variety of complex tasks and potentially direct the work of others.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including international travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Engineering Management, Business Administration, or a related engineering field is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of experience in engineering, design, business systems analysis, software development, or a related technical field.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Vault, Autodesk Fusion Manage, PDM, PLM, and other engineering software suites.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to team objectives.
  • Experience in software implementation and operational support.
