At InterSystems, we're seeking a seasoned Cloud Product Manager to spearhead the growth of our innovative data platform. As a key member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in defining and delivering our cloud fabric, driving business and technical requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders across departments and external partners.
Responsibilities:- Cloud Fabric Development: Drive the creation of a scalable and sustainable cloud fabric that supports enterprise-scale real-time data analytics.
- Technical Evaluation: Lead technical evaluation, including driving build vs. buy vs. open source decisions.
- Product Roadmaps: Drive product roadmaps, balancing business and technical requirements, including determining priorities, planning releases, and leading feature & defect grooming processes.
- Technical Specifications: Translate business requirements into technical specifications and project plans, working closely with cross-functional teams, including development, UX, and operations.
- KPIs and Insights: Define, monitor, and analyze KPIs to refine our cloud platform, feeding insights back to the business and development process.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collect and synthesize stakeholder and market inputs to discover key insights and identify market problems and opportunities.
- Competitive Research: Research competitive solutions, documenting their relative strengths and weaknesses to develop competitive positioning and increase the value of our offerings in the cloud.
- Progress Tracking: Track progress, identify roadblocks, and proactively manage dependencies across teams.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert (SME), staying informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes.
- Experience: 5+ years of post-college work experience in product management, focused on technical cloud solutions, infrastructure, or platform.
- Infrastructure Software: Significant experience with infrastructure software, including Kubernetes, Linux, containers, networking, storage, and public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- SaaS Experience: Demonstrated experience developing and executing the roadmap for Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions that deliver measurable results.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think through complex problems and translate business needs into functional user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and technical communication skills, including experience communicating technical and non-technical concepts to stakeholders, including senior executives.
- Private Cloud: Familiarity with private clouds.
- Enterprise SaaS: Familiarity with enterprise SaaS needs.
