The core responsibilities of a Business Development Agent encompass a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing customer engagement and satisfaction. This role involves effective communication via telephone and email with clients, colleagues, and management, which includes both incoming and outgoing interactions, as well as scheduling appointments for clients.

The Business Development Agent is committed to continuously improving their understanding of dealership offerings to better serve customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct outbound calls and respond to a designated number of inbound sales inquiries daily.
- Address all customer questions promptly and professionally.
- Utilize established communication templates for email and phone interactions with clients.
- Adhere to dealership call scripts during all outbound sales efforts.
- Schedule, document, and confirm appointments with clients.
- Relay customer information to management upon appointment scheduling.
- Engage in ongoing education regarding products, services, and manufacturer details to enhance customer assistance capabilities.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all dealership offerings.
- Regularly review used vehicle inventory to stay informed.
- Follow all customer handling and marketing protocols as directed by management.
- Report any potential customer issues or concerns to management.
- Execute all outbound marketing campaigns as instructed by management.
- Uphold a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- One year of experience in an office setting or a related field is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires prolonged periods of sitting, standing, clear verbal communication, and the ability to hear both in person and over the phone. Employees must be capable of using hands to operate office equipment and reaching with both hands and arms. Occasional walking, bending, or lifting of up to twenty-five pounds may be necessary. Vision abilities required for this role include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
